Stick-on labels
- Make sure the surface is clean, dry, oil-free and smooth. The flatter the better.
- Peel the label and press it down firmly from the centre outwards.
- Leave it for 24 hours before the first wash so the adhesive can bond.
Labels may not hold on greasy-feeling plastics, heavily textured surfaces or non-stick silicone.
Iron-on clothing labels
- Set the iron to dry mode (no steam), 130–170 °C: the middle or wool setting.
- Holding the iron flat, press the name tape in place for 10–15 seconds. Do not move the iron around.
- Allow the garment to cool down.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 twice more, so the label is pressed 3 times in total.
Use a thin pressing cloth for delicate fabrics.
Shoe labels
- Make sure the spot inside the shoe is clean and dry.
- Peel the label and press it down firmly, working from the centre outwards.
- Place the clear protective label we provide over the name label. It protects it against sweat and moisture, so your shoe labels last longer.
Labels can be a choking hazard. Check they are fully stuck down before handing items to small children.
